I was
just two years old when my father snapped a photograph of me
holding up a dress as if I had it on – my mother lovingly looked
on and giggled. From that point on it was inevitable; I would do
something in the design industry!
Growing up, I had a real passion for color and texture – it
showed in everything I did. Therefore I had to
pursue the passion. I eventually chose the Interior Design field
obtaining a Degree in Interior Design with honors. I also
received the Outstanding Achievement Award. After graduating, my
career started to fall into place – I’ve had some wonderful
experiences and opportunities working for various well known names
in fashion as well as interior design: Nordstrom, Herman Miller,
and a DuPont Surfaces distributor.
Design ‘n Style
is a logical extension of my experience with interior
design and fashion. With this knowledge and a real flair for
both fashion and design, along with a strong customer service
ethic, I decided that I wanted to start my own business doing what
I do best.
So
here I am, working with people to help them achieve a warm and
harmonious surrounding. It’s important to me that my customers’
surroundings reflect their own style and personality. I
work closely with my customers and really listen to their needs
and wants. This helps them to understand what they are trying to
achieve.
I am
associated with the following professional associations:
I.R.I.S. (Interior Redesign Industry Specialists), Eastern
Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, and the Women’s Business
Development Center of Philadelphia.
